JULIANA G. LAMARDO Ms. Lamardo was born in São Paulo, Brazil and moved to the U.S. with her family in 1987. She graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Following her mother’s career footsteps, Ms. Lamardo obtained her law degree from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. While there, she was a student ambassador for incoming students. She also received a book award in Florida Constitutional Law and was the recipient of the Florida Education Fund scholarship for minority students. Prior to graduation, Ms. Lamardo clerked for Goldman & Loughlin and completed a successful internship program at Catholic Charities, providing legal assistance to abused women. Upon graduation in 2007, Ms. Lamardo joined the law firm of Sirota & Associates, where she practiced Immigration Law. As with many ambitious attorneys, Ms. Lamardo felt she was missing the litigation component to further develop her career and re-directed herself into a more litigation focused firm. Accordingly, she joined the law firm of Acosta Strommen as a litigation associate in February 2009. Ms. Lamardo is a member of the Florida Bar and also the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. |
