DAVID REINBLATT

Mr. Reinblatt was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. He first attended Marianopolis College where he received a Diplome d’Etudes Collegiales in Commerce. Afterwards, he attended McGill University where he received a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. Throughout his childhood in Montreal, Mr. Reinblatt played competitive level hockey for his high school where he served as team captain in his senior year. He was also active in many other sports including soccer, football, and track. While at McGill, he participated in a unique weeklong peacebuilding simulation that engages the participants in the concept and difficulties present in real life peacebuilding. After graduation, Mr. Reinblatt spent several months travelling throughout South America.

Mr. Reinblatt decided to move to Miami and attend St. Thomas University School of Law. While in law school, he was very active in school activities. He was the founder and president of the Business Law Society, treasurer of the Jewish Law Students Association, a member of the Bankruptcy Assistance Clinic, participant in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA), and a member of Phi Alpha Delta. After graduation he continued to mentor the executive board of the Business Law Society.

During law school, Mr. Reinblatt worked at the firm of Milne & Smith in Coral Gables where he assisted in commercial litigation matters. After law school he worked at the Law Offices of Granda & Associates, P.A. as an associate where he continued his practice in the areas of commercial litigation. Seeking more “in court” time, Mr. Reinblatt decided to join the law firm of Acosta Strommen as an associate in the fall of 2008.

Mr. Reinblatt is a member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, and the Dade County Bar Association. He is fluent in French.
