| BENJAMIN CARTER
Mr. Carter was born and raised in Lexington, KY before moving to Florida to attend the University of Miami. He majored in Political Science and American Studies, and graduated cum laude and with general honors. While in college he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon and an active leader in the Greek community. He then interned for Senator Mel Martinez before starting law school at the University of Miami.
Mr. Carter earned his second degree from UM, graduating magna cum laude. While in law school he was an Articles and Comments Editor for the University of Miami Business Law Review, and served as President of the Environmental Law Society. He was also active in the law school’s Center for Ethics & Public Service, completing a Summer Fellowship at Legal Services of Greater Miami after his first year, and interning with the Center’s Professional Responsibility & Ethics Program for two years.
Mr. Carter is a litigation associate at ACOSTA, where he works primarily in the defense of 1st Party insurance suits.
